FBI whistleblower claims cases from January 6 were edited to provide the impression of a national emergency

How far would Nancy Pelosi go to prosecute Donald Trump? So, you can stop wondering. When the FBI was contacted to investigate the event on January 6, there was no actual national emergency at hand.

According to a whistleblower who requested anonymity, January 6th was a regular demonstration that the left mishandled and made out to be a national emergency in order to harm Trump.

In order to create “the perception” that domestic violent extremism is a common issue in the United States, the FBI is manipulating cases connected to the Capitol riot that occurred on January 6, according to the head Republican on the House Judiciary Committee.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray that the “manipulative case-file practice” was being conducted by the bureau’s Washington field office, which was instructing local FBI offices to open up cases on their books that were in fact simply related to the Capitol breach.

“The FBI’s case categorization creates the illusion that threats from DVE are present in jurisdictions across the nation, when in reality they all stem from the same related investigation concerning the actions at the Capitol on January 6,” Jordan wrote.

“Such an artificial case categorization scheme allows FBI leadership to misleadingly point to ‘significant’ increases in DVE threats nationwide,” he added.

The Republican lawmaker said the whistleblower’s description is “consistent with disclosures we have received from other whistleblowers that high-ranking FBI officials — including a senior WFO official — are pressing front-line agents to categorize cases as DVE matters to fit a political narrative.”

The action coincides with President Joe Biden and his team’s efforts to argue that Donald Trump supporters are fueling an extremism threat in the United States, a claim he made in a speech in Pennsylvania that was roundly criticized a few weeks ago.

Jordan said that other crimes, such as the investigation of child sex exploitation, are suffering as a result of the FBI’s altered focus.

Jordan stated, “The whistleblower indicated that the FBI is forgoing other crucial federal law-enforcement responsibilities to conduct January 6 investigations. For instance, the whistleblower remembered hearing that the FBI no longer prioritized child sexual abuse material investigations and that local law enforcement organizations should be contacted instead.

“Such a stance is not only a dereliction of the FBI leadership’s political goal, but it is also a grievous disservice to the victims of child sexual abuse and other crimes that do not enhance the FBI leadership’s duty to investigate violations of federal laws.
